Additional Information:

Lansingville Fire Station. Station 11 was located on the south side of Poland Ave. near Jones Street. It opened on June 10, 1914. It served the part of the city known as Lansingville. The station's demise was brought about by the construction of the freeway system which allowed trucks from other stations to cover the area. It closed March 29, 1972. It housed the City Engineering Department until it was sold in July of 1982. For a while after closing, it housed an auto repair shop and is now owned by the Youngstown Tool and Die Company next door. The Youngstown Tool and Die Company building and Station 11 were put up for sale in 2020, asking price for both buildings was $270,000.
