Today In YFD History: September 22, 1978 – Rayen School Fire - Wick and Wood Street

Firefighters were summoned to the old Rayen School Building At Wick Ave and Wood Street. The alarm was received around 9am and quickly went to 3 alarms. 10 fire companies responded and had the fire under control in about an hour. The building was occupied in part by YSU.
